I think Ireland's 2011 draft is starting to pick up some steam. Those still on the team are:

Round 1: Mike Pouncey, C, Florida
Round 2: Daniel Thomas, RB, Kansas State
Round 6: Charles Clay, TE/FB, Tulsa
Round 7: Jimmy Wilson, CB/S, Montana

Quote:
Third Year’s the Charm

A pair of 2011 draft picks picked up the Miami offense Sunday as Clay finished at +4.2 overall while running back Daniel Thomas graded at +3.3 on his 26 snaps. In addition to his touchdown, Clay picked up three first downs with his five other receptions to finish with six catches for 90 yards. He even notched his first positive grade as a run blocker, finishing at +1.0, on the strength of solid blocks against perennial top run stopping linebacker Jarret Johnson. For Thomas, it marked another strong performance on the ground as he finished with 57 yards on 10 carries, including four forced missed tackles and a touchdown. He kept the Dolphins in manageable down and distances situations with his signature run coming at the 11:51 mark of the fourth quarter as he ran through Te’o before sidestepping Wright on his way to an 8-yard gain. The pair of third-year players proved quite valuable to the Dolphins’ offense on Sunday.

Clay has really opened his career up this year. Last year he would drop these balls that were right in his hands, and sometimes on big plays. But he also made some really great plays last year, too. He has played better overall in every aspect of his game. It's a shame that Keller went out because he is a freak of nature, but, it's nice to see Clay step up and ultimately solidify his status as a playmaker. Matthews also has the capability to make consistent plays but the rhythm seems to be a little shaky with Tannehill and his receivers. It almost seems like he has a hard time throwing to different receivers in the same series. As for Jimmy Wilson he really is a solid player. I don't think he has the Brent Grimes athletic ability, but he can lay the pads on someone and has made some key plays for us this year, including the pic on Matt Ryan to seal that game. If only Nolan Carroll could play better our D Back tandem would be one of the best in the league. Our Linebackers really are letting me down...sooo much space inside and they only make a sure tackle every now and then. Dline is solid with more pressure and more Jordan could be elite.
