Assuming free agency plays out like this,
We land either Veldheer, Monroe or Albert at LT and possibly Alex Mack at center then resign Clemons or somehow make an effort at Byrd then I'd like this guy as our first pick

1 Khalil Mack LB Buffalo
2 Jordan Matthews WR Vanderbilt
3 Billy Turner T North Dakota State
4 Daokta Dozier G Furman
5 James White RB Wisconsin
6 De-Anthony Thomas RB Oregon
7 Wesley Johnson T Vanderbilt

We get a playmaker at LB to help the lack of playmaking by Misi or the other guys, a WR because who knows how hartline and gibson will recover and even if they do a big target for tanny wont hurt. We get a RT and a guard, an insurance potential start tackle in wesley johnson and then two running backs to compete. White played well in Wisconsins zone blocking and Thomas can be a guy that can do multiple things

so you think we're getting a top 5 player all the way down at 19?

Mak, Khalil Mack will not get out of the top 10, much less dropping to Miami at #19. Miami will have to trade up to get him.

I'd roll with Wheeler/Ellerbee one more year before I drafted a LB with our first pick. It was their first year in the system, and they can't get any worse. Ellerbee's upside seems much more realistic than Wheeler, but I'd still hit on Martin OT or Ebron TE at 19.

If Hickey somehow manages the majority of the offensive line in free agency to give us the luxury to pick Ebron at 19, I'd be pumped.

I agree with this, but I would also find competition.

Maybe Jelani Jenkins is ready to challenge Wheeler? We could draft another ILB to challenge Ellerbe. Misi is actually the best of the bunch, but if Jordan isn't going to get playing time on the line, give him a shot to unseat Misi.

I think Jenkins is a real find for us. Let's start using some of our mid round picks to fill roles.

He certainly has the speed and athleticism to cover. Hopefully he has improved his strength so he can be more effective against the run.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock believes Buffalo edge player Khalil Mack will be the first or second defensive player selected in May.
The other is Jadeveon Clowney, but it is still noteworthy that Mayock notes there is a possibility of Mack being selected before the South Carolina pass rusher. "The wildcards are the quarterbacks," Mayock said. "Will a quarterback go No. 1? Will a tackle go No. 2?" Mack ranks as Josh Norris' No. 3 overall prospect.

So he'd be good value at 19 haha

If Darqueze Dennard is there then Id take him to pair up with Grimes. Otherwise maybe Louis Nix to replace soilia

Ohio State T Jack Mewhort did some work at center at Ohio State's Pro Day.
Mewhort is a heady player and his intelligence clearly translates off-the-field; any additional versatility he can prove before the draft will only translate into a higher slot and more dollars. The 6-foot-6, 308-pounder "was handpicked by Coach Urban Meyer to be a team captain (because of his leadership qualities) and when the team voting was completed in the fall he had earned the most votes of all eight players who were ultimately chosen to represent the team as game captains in 2013," according to Mewhort's profile on the OSU athletics page.

Sounds like the type of leader we could use in our locker room.

Ok since Mack isn't an option at our pick and we havent really shored up the oline yet, I revised some things...I really hope we sign some olinemen because I would love jordan matthews with our 2nd rounder but I'll settle for this

1 Justin Gilbert CB OSU or Jason Varret CB TCU (Varret should be there, Gilbert probably won't but if he id go with him)
2 Billy Turner OT Boise
3 Dakota Dozier OG Furman
4 Devin Street WR Pitt
5 James White RB Wisconsin
6 Deanthony Thomas RB/WR/KR? Oregon
7 Wesley Johnson OT Vanderbilt

But idk, maybe Jamar Taylor is the guy and the staff knows it so maybe we wont have to draft a corner since we got two last year.

I'm thinkin maybe we'll still sign a corner to compete with Taylor and Davis. There are alot still out there including Patterson.
