And now Chris Johnson is a Jet.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have agreed to terms with the former Titans running back on a two-year deal.

He adds an explosive element to the offense for a team that sorely needs them (though they still need them in the passing game).

The short deal gives the 28-year-old back a chance to re-establish himself, with perhaps a chance at another deal.

Out of all the NFL teams, of course Chris Johnson has to sign in our division and for the Jets.

Adding Vick, Decker and now Johnson certainly helps their anemic offense from last season.

Not saying I would object to him being on our roster, but he hasn't been a significant threat since his contract year.

He was complaining that they were not giving him the opportunities like they had before... His 2k season was on 358 touches. Last 2 he has been around 275...

Rex is going to fire him up and feed him the rock. I surely hope he is gassed out, but seems kinda young for that...

This signing does worry me a bit regardless of his rapid drop off from a production standpoint the past few seasons. Miami's defensive line has had a huge issue containing speed backs, now they have to face CJ Spiller AND Chris Johnson 4 games a year.

Yes I agree dude and if they don't improve the linebacking situation and tackle better, this Johnson signing plays into a Miami weakness.
