I agree, good debate fellas. Taylor was one of my favorite players in last years draft. I know he at least plays tough when he's healthy.

If Jamar Taylor taped up or cut out his kidney and played would you like him better?

:haha

Maybe he should remove his own kidney and groin during a game to prove he is mentally tough.

Makchel put it quite nicely, I liked what I saw of him in college and I hope he has a good year now that he's healthy,

I also wasn't saying saying he IS mentally weak, just that he wasn't mentally tough, I think the jury is still out on his mental toughness but that the league is also mostly average mental toughness, the strong and the weak stand out, which pretty much applies to most things on most levels, Darwinian even.

No one said anything about him taking a kidney out to prove his man hood or mental toughness. Mental toughness is questioned by him "almost" quitting when he was hurt.

But you didn't question his mental toughness.

Your statement was not a question.

You simply made a judgment.

He is a weak minded person for almost quitting football last year. It's an opinion, judgement, I take ownership of the statement. I didn't expect him to play while hurt, no one said that. I'm questioning his mental toughness for almost quitting. What the eff is there not to get?

I get what you're saying. You're the one missing the point.

And I guess Jason Taylor is weak-minded because he thought about quitting football before the 2006 season.

Funny how I have mentioned that twice and no one making the "mentally tough" argument wants to acknowledge it...

Was he thinking about retirement? I never heard of him wanting to quit. Maybe he made enough money and wanted to quit. He was not a high draft pick rookie in '06 either. He put his time in, maybe there were other circumstances or more to the story as you like to say...

Doesn't matter, he was thinking of quitting and didn't. Therefore he is weak-minded. :haha

I hardly blame Ireland for Taylor's injuries or talk of retirement. He was a very good player coming out of Boise State. A sports hernia injury can really demoralize an athlete as it is very lengthy to rehab from and painful to go along with it.

Hopefully, he bounces back as he has talent and a healthy 100% Taylor could be a nice surprise this 2014 season.

I hope this kid can show up to camp healthy and ready to go. He was a solid prospect with a lot of upside. It was a shame to see him go through those injuries and spoil his rookie season. If he's able to live up to his draft stock and fill a significant role for us, either as an outside guy or the nickel, it would be a huge boost.

There are a lot of "ifs" right now with our secondary. Hopefully they turn into known commodities early in the season.

Between DJ's suspension, Will Davis falling all over the place, Taylor almost quitting and being a dime back, and now we are thinking of moving Pouncey to guard cause Dallas Thomas sucks? Wow, this is one of the top 3 reasons we are a doormat, our drafts suck!!!
