We have talked about this on the boards some already, but he is basically confirming thoughts on a possible trade partner. It's on the Home page as well.

Cleveland Browns are emerging as a strong possible trade down partner for Dolphins and other teams drafting in 18-22 range of 1st rd

I said that Cleveland was our best bet months ago. To move up for a quarterback, most likely Carr.

If I am the Browns, I'd draft Sammy Watkins 4th overall, and trade up with Miami to get Carr/Bridgewater, and who knows...Bortles may even be available there. Miami may be the favorite here to trade down with them.

I think thats their plan, to take Sammy and then come back up for the QB.

I agree, although what I think they can do is go get Greg Robinson first, trade up from their 2nd round pick and add a 3rd to go to our pick and get OBJ and then draft Carr at 26 or Carr at 19 and Lee at 26

Walter Football has us trading up to 14 to grab Taylor Lewan.

Not sure I like the idea of trading up for a lineman...

We won't. Hickey would rather trade back.

Cleveland might actually have a decent regime.

Pettine did a really good job with that Buffalo front 7.

The 49ers could possibly be in play as well. They could possibly come up and grab a CB or WR, but their beat writer thinks it would be for a DB.

Fuller, Dennard, Pryor could all be available at 19

Cleveland is offering their second and two thirds for a pick in the 18-22 range. This would give the Dolphins five picks in the first 85 with their top pick coming at 35.

If that is true, I would jump all over that ridiculous trade value in return.

I don't see why Cleveland would give up a 2nd and two 3rd round picks to move up 7 spots. That value doesn't seem to sit right at all with me, it would be a massive rip off to the Browns in favor of a team like Miami.

Does this trade also include Cleveland's 26th pick in the 1st round or are they trying to keep that pick and get another first round pick for a 2nd and 2 3rd's?

I love draft time! My gut feeling is if Martin is available at 19, the Dolphins probably go in that direction. However, all the later mock drafts I've seen lately have Martin going a lot earlier in the 1st round than earlier mocks did.

But, if Cleveland comes up with their 2nd and two 3rds for the 19th pick, the Dolphins would be looking at probably getting a G, RT, TE, CB, and either a WR or LB in the first 3 rounds! An insane haul in this draft, especially with the OL, DB, and WR talent available this year!

I don't see Sammy Watkins being around at #4 for Cleveland with all the "We don't expect Justin Blackmon to be available this year" talk from Jax execs. My guess is they're trying to ply someone out of more picks to move up to #3 and take Watkins. That could definitely throw a screw into the Cleveland trade works if that ends up being the case, unless they're dreaming up another scenario.

Regardless of the scenarios that play out, I can't wait until Thursday.

If Cleveland goes Watkins at 4 & wants to move up. I can see Miami landing Greg Little in the deal

That would depend on what we would have to give up. If it's a 2nd or 3rd, we probably don't make that trade. If it's a 4th or 5th, then that is a deal that might get done. Lewan is an excellent prospect. He's a top ten talent to most who evaluate him (Mayock ranks him 6th overall in the draft).

My opinion of Lewan is that if he's available at 19, it's a no-brainer, I'd draft him and plug him in as my day one starter at right tackle. If all it takes is a 4th or 5th round pick to trade up for him, I'd do that as well. He's a talented player who could play across from Albert and even replace him in time.

I agree. He has size, but he is very inconsistent.

Its the 2nd and 2 3rd rounders. Like I said theyd get a start rt, a qb and a wr in the first by doing that and I would take that deal

Cleveland wouldn't be moving up 7 spots in this scenario. They would be moving up 16 spots. Cleveland would trade their 35th (2nd), 71st (3rd) & 83rd (3rd) for Miami's 19th (1st). That would leave Cleveland with 3 1st round picks. The 4th, (19th from Miami) & 26th.

Miami would end up with the (35th 2nd from Clev), 50th 2nd , (71st 3rd from Clev), 81st 3rd , & ( 83rd 3rd from Clev).

I think Cleveland goes Manziel at #4 then trades up for Evans.

No it does not. Cleveland wants to add a third pick in round one. I'd take that deal myself if I were Miami. With this being a draft deep in OLD and WR talent, They could land some good guys

Not endorsing him, just saying I can see Miami getting him in the deal. Not sure its his hands, but more his focus on the task.

As someone who's whole family is in Cleveland and have been exposed to almost as many Browns games as Dolphins game .... I'm tellin' we have no use for him. The concentration/drops issues he has aren't going away anytime soon.

You got me interested. Fact check it & Little had 6 drops in 99 targets.

With Josh Gordon commanding the attention he does (not to mention Jordan Cameron), Little didn't even put up more than 41 catches and 465 yards last year. His performances were crap even before Hoyer's ACL injury too.

Btw, he had 5 games of under 10 receiving yards.
