The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins "love" Tennessee OT Ja'Wuan James and Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier.
The Dolphins have been fielding calls from other teams about possibly trading up or moving back from No. 19 overall. The top four tackles (Greg Robinson, Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan, Zack Martin) are expected to be long gone by 19th overall, so Miami may have to look at guys like James or Morgan Moses to man right tackle. Shazier profiles as a weak-side 'backer in a 4-3.

A source told Packer Report that Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier is unlikely to fall past the Dolphins at No. 19 overall.
Shazier has been a late riser after running a 4.37 forty at the Buckeyes' Pro Day, and recording mind-bogglingly explosive jumps of 42" in the vertical and 10-foot-10 in the broad. The Fins have been searching for linebacker help since whiffing on D'Qwell Jackson in free agency. Shazier could play either middle or weak-side 'backer in Miami, with Philip Wheeler losing his starting job. - Rotoworld

10 foot 10 broad jump? Seems more exciting than an O-lineman

Did we whiff on D'Qwell Jackson? Or is that just the Roto hate?

If they really want James, I'd like to see them move back a few picks, pick up something extra in the 2nd-4th round range, and take him later.

19 just seems too high for a guy that very few people have mocked in the 1st round. I would think that would mean he'd be available at 26-32 somewhere.
