Hopefully some studs fall. Lewan, Martin, Beckham, Mosley still alive after 10 picks. Maybe we do move up?

They obviously liked him more than any of the tackles that were left. I knew they liked him, but I was thinking 2nd round for James.

the rumors were true about Miami loving him and he is a good player. Gets to play his natural spot at right tackle.

It was a knee sprain... Not a torn ACL. Not a big deal.

Cool....so he will be ready day 1. Since Mosley, Ebron and Martin were off the board the pick makes sense.

I want a receiver in round 2, then go linebacker in the 3rd.

I actually really like the James pick. Drafting a RT to play RT is a novel idea in the NFL these days. I'm on board.

My "who farted" face comes from my own personal speculation that the same pick could have been made from 25-32, possibly? Picking up even a 5th round pick to move down and take him there would have been better than picking him at 19.

Rumor was that he was their guy. I'm glad they got him. But GM's and coaches that draft #30 players at #19 probably don't get too many chances to stick around in this league.

the Pats just took a guy that tore up both his knees. I'm sure people will applaud the pick. If we took him we'd be stoned.

Maybe a little bit Rich, but he was definitely on the rise. NFLDraftScout.com had him as a 1st-2nd round pick, and I was seeing him in the 20's of some mocks.

And yes, the Dolphins obviously addressed a HUGE need with a solid football player.

according to NFL.com's ranks the Patriots took the worst graded player in round 1.
Ten players were under a 6.0 grade and James was one of them at 5.7.
Dee Ford was also a 5.7.
Easley got a 5.3 and Jimmie Ward got a 5.4.

At least we know James was battle tested in the SEC. They had all the best pass rushers this year.

darn Pete Prisco gave the Patriots an A, if Easely is healthy. If that would have been any other team, they would have been ripped. BS. He gave Miami a B for the James pick.

the same Patriot a$$ kissers will always applaud anything they do. To me a guy that destroyed both knees is a total reach. I like easley's talent but I wouldn't have touched him until the 3rd. Those knee tears probably took years off of his football life.

Even Kiper said - "He was a 3rd round pick to me."

Pete Prisco doesn't know what the hell he's talking about - he just blurbs out pointless dribble all day long.
