The Dolphins’ undrafted free agent addition with the highest pre-draft grade? LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, rated a second- or third rounder by NFL.com’s Nolan Nawrocki before he reportedly had a positive drug test at the NFL Combine.

“He didn’t play up to his potential, but he’s big, strong and can move really well, and it’s tough to find those guys,” an NFC scout said. Another Dolphins post-draft addition, Utah State center Tyler Larsen, was viewed as a potential fourth-rounder by some.

Another low risk high reward pickup. What an idiot though, right before the combine, seriously?

Clearly the fortune and fame isn't enough incentive to lay off the grass.

It cost this kid a big payday. Smoke 30 days prior to the combine...sooo dumb.

I like that we took him, I didnt know it. Remember hearing about him during the draft as being a risk/reward player.

As far as the drug test, some people retain it longer than others, seen guys pass 2 weeks after smoking, others have needed more than 45 days.. Its not as cut and dry as some other drugs.

Some predraft reports:

Seems like a great UDFA prospect to me...

Chances are medical MJ will be allowed in the NFL at some point in the future. IMO these guys should have a less harmful alternative to the pills they are prescribed and allowed to take now... I have watched while lives ruined and even lost from getting hooked on them..
