No, there will never be another Crash. NFL defenses are too fast in this day and age.

I don't see the Crash idea at all, but I will say that this kid was a terrific QB at the Division 1AA level. Got to see him play Sam Houston in the National Championship twice and overall he has led his team the last 3 years in a row to the National 1AA title. The kid is a winner with a heck of an arm and came out of a very well coached program. It will be interesting if he can unseat Devlin as the third string guy to even make the team.

I find a crash every morning on the way to work. People in Miami can't drive.

Watched the first couple of minutes and while he throws a nice deep ball he gets about an hour and a half to find his target and pull trigger. He won't have that luxury in the NFL. Just imagine what Tannehill or Moore would look like if they had that much time to diagnose and throw.

Yes, he actually rarely played QB, mainly a utility back who would also line up at TE at times, even in the slot on occasion, Shula once said of Jensen, "you could play him at any position on either side of the ball and not be embarrassed", quite possibly the best compliment Shula ever dished out, that's tremendous respect.

Our third round pick was his left tackle.

What I saw was a kid who pulled the trigger on the throw even if there was tight coverage, put the ball through the eye of a needle at 40yds and even once had his arm hit and still hit the guy in stride. ...Rather than a guy who held the ball too long, had no feel in the pocket and overthrew/underthrew everyone deeper than the safety.

Omar Kelly @OmarKelly · 59s Just got a glimpse of Brock Jensen making a necessary NFL throw....not pleased. No zip to it. Dropped on him.

Omar Kelly @OmarKelly · 30s I know this is day one, but Brock Jensen will need A LOT of work to challenge Pat Devlin.

To parrot what Rich said, you're comparing 1AA competition to NFL competition? I agree, the kid looked great but let's be honest about who he is playing against and if those scenarios translate to the NFL. Tannehill's college tape would look just as good versus even better competition.

Okay, so superior competition would've had tighter coverage than a man blanketed by "inferior" competition. The only issue, in my opinion, is whether he is able to make the game speed adjustment. That is with every QB that goes from college to the NFL. Some do, some don't.
