Camp observationshttp://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... 5662.story
In the four practices Ryan Tannehill was given a full field to use, he delivered at least one deep ball per practice. On Wednesday, Tannehill connected with Brian Hartline, who got behind cornerback Jamar Taylor, and caught a 70-yard touchdown in stride… Taylor responded a few snaps later by picking off another deep pass from Tannehill. He also had three deflected passes during practice….Fellow cornerback Cortland Finnegan picked off Tannehill in the end zone on a pass intended for Rishard Matthews during the final 11-on-11 session, which was a two-minute drill session. Matthews worked with the starting receivers while Mike Wallace was shelved….Rookie Walt Aikens, the Dolphins' fourth-round pick who switched positions during camp's first week, is the second team safety, where he's paired with Jimmy Wilson.
Chris McCain, an undrafted rookie linebacker from California, has been terrorizing the third-team offense so much it is time for him to be called up to the second-team unit. On Wednesday, McCain intercepted a pass Pat Devlin intended to intentionally ground, dipping down low to pull the pass off the ground. He's athletic and has decent range.
