-- Dolphins top performers today: 1. Daryn Colledge (locked down LG); 2. Rishard Matthews (moved chains a couple times); Branden Albert (solid).

-- "Dion Sims has made more plays in the passing game the first 5 or 6 games than I remember last year," Joe Philbin said.

-- Dallas Thomas moves from RG to RT during the first series of 11-on-11. Week 2 is always for experimentation. Dolphins are doing it.

-- Now Shelley Smith is getting worked in as the RG with the first unit.

-- Nate Garner begins 11-on-11 as the starting center. Dallas Thomas is the starting right guard. ...

- Chris McCain just took a snap with the 1st team defense at SLB.

-- Chris McCain just blasted Matt Hazel, who struggled to get up. Beast hit!

-- AJ Francis just blew up a running play by rag dolling Billy Turner on his way to the backfield.

...

-- Ball not hitting ground nearly as much today in throwing drill between QBs and WRs. Good to see.

-- Charles Clay runs his routes aggressively. There is a tentative trait to every other TE on the roster. That's a roster concern.

-- Charles Clay moves a lot better than the rest of Miami's TEs. He's always moved well. Hoping to see someone else run routes like him. ...

-- This is probably the crispest practice I've seen the Dolphins have had. Day 6 has been sharp. No INTs, few sacks, D eating the run. ...

-- Bad snap from Nate Garner. Tannehill takes a sack.

-- Tannehill find Matthews for another 15 yards on a great pass during 11-on-11s.

-- Tannehill rolls out left and runs it instead of throwing to an open Landry. Gains 10.

-- Nobody moves like Marcus Thigpen as a returner. Others might be able to do the job, but nobody has his giddy-up speed. ...

Really a nice surprise to see Colledge stepping up. He was a good guard at one point with GB.
This Chris McClain guy could be another young find.
There seems to be a good pool of young talent in our camp.

And this is why I'm not drinking the koolaid during training camp. Start the season and produce, then we can talk.

Haven't heard a lot about Delmas.............which is probably a good thing. If he can stay healthy........he'll be a difference maker.

Grimes seems to like him, from an article from Fox Sports.............

"He's a high-energy guy, I'm he same way," Grimes said of Delmas' effect on the team. "A high energy guy, when you look at him, picks you up. It's a good addition to the team. Not only can he play the game, but he's a great guy in the locker room and a great guy on the field."

He pretty has worked exclusively with the 3rd team, so thus far he is not leap frogging the two guys in front him.
