It looks like they brought Brady ball in to raise the confidence in our secondary.

Barry Jackson wrote:
### Difficult to envision Brady Quinn making the team after throwing five interceptions over the past three days. He threw two picks today: one to Jamar Taylor and another that Jimmy Wilson returned for a touchdown.

The Dolphins seem likely to keep two quarterbacks and sign at least one for the practice squad --- perhaps Seth Lobato or recently released Pat Devlin.

I said it before the 2007 draft. Quinn has an incorrectable flaw in his throwing motion. There is a hitch in his throws that telegraph the pass. I didn't think he'd be an NFL QB then and he certainly won't be one now.

Against Brent Grimes and Cortland Finnegan... not against Kevin Fogg.

I really love how the Back Up QB's get so much attention on this forum... Its absolutely ridiculous.

We know the depth chart

1- Tannehill
2- Moore

if there's a 3- it'll be some bum that no one knows, or cares about.

Quinn has gotten more press time on the forum, and in the newspapers this past week than our starting RB!!! JEEEEZ...

I don't even know who our starting RB is...

Half joke, and half truth, but there is little concern at RB with Miller and Moreno, we know what we have, signing Quinn was news worthy seeing as how he is a former high pick there is going to be news surrounding it, also QB being the most important position on any team it will always get press.

Even if it's all irrelevant as you said, it's always the case.

I think we'll be drafting a runningback in round 2 next year

FINesse would say that Brady Quinn should be throwing interceptions against the best secondary in the NFL.

:haha

I wish they would have kept Brock Jensen on the roster and actually let him play in a preseason game to see what he had. Quinn was a known quantity, as was Devlin. I'd rather have kept Devlin than signed Quinn.

Again amazed that Josh Freeman has fallen that far out of favor. Seems to me he would be one to bring in & work with. Moore is a FA after the season & if they can do good work then one would think he would be salvageable.

Freeman is a punk and he sucks. Goes back to what I've said for years now, draft a QB every year, sooner or later we will hit on one.

Punk? Explain, please. Sucks? He did not suck until Greg Schiano. In 2012 he went for over 4K/27TD/17 Ints. 82% QBR. Those are Tanny type numbers for 2013

Late for meetings and work ethic.

Sucks?

Did you see him play for the Vikings last year? HE is still on the street, so 32 teams agree with me...lol

Freeman did have alcohol problems.  First off, I have buddies who live in Tampa and are diehard Bucs fans.  I've seen regular pics of him drunk passed out in a closet.  A female friend of a friend was banging him and there would be pics put up in Facebook that would quickly be taken down. I have no proof of this, so take it for what it's worth, but I have no reason to lie.

Here is what my Bucs friends say about Freeman:

He chokes.
He throws boneheaded INTs.
He's a coke head (rumor)
He does molly (rumor)
He never learned not to throw off his back foot.
He's inaccurate.
He's not a leader.

Personally, I don't see how he had a top tier WR and one of the best RBs in the league with Tampa, and he was as bad as he played. Even his 2nd WR in Mike Williams could be a number 1 on some teams.

I think it's time to sign T-Bow! Who cares about the hype he brings with him?

The guy can hit and take a hit...hell he LOVES to hit!

At least he'll make you wonder what's comin' or maybe he might just surprise us?

He did well in Denver when they needed him but everyone forgets about that.

Seems to me if we're gone lose, may as well have tried the Tebow way on the way down!

He may not be that great in the NFL but he would make an excellent backup!

Quinn? We passed on him way back for a reason. Devlin has no arm and Moore will eventually have to go so why waste time and just give Tebow a try?

I respect your opinion and welcome to boards, I would say no to Tebow. There is a reason he is on the street. IMO QBs should go like this...starter, backup that can come in and make plays and a 3rd string "project" that could be a backup or a future starter. The 3rd Qb can always be replaced/traded.

I love everything about Tebow except his ability to throw the ball, that's hard to watch, he is not an NFL caliber QB, I wish he would convert to TE.

If they will let him I think Tebow should go to the CFL and prove and or improve himself there before he will get another shot at the NFL.

There was to much drama surrounding his other stints in the NFL and not enough consistent production as a passer imo.

The Jets tried Tebow out as a TE in plenty of practices and some split out in games.

He runs his patterns too stiff. He is where he belongs, out of the NFL. Great guy though.

Two ends of the spectrum on what one would consider a punk.

His one game in Minn where he played soon after they signed him?

Maybe they do. Just find it odd that someone who has had his success cannot get work. Yet people like Quinn, who has never had success in the NFL continue to be signed.

If Freeman can't get work after what initially was a promising start to his career, then it's got to do with something beyond the football field. That is unless the Buccaneers somehow got away with running the most vanilla offense ever from 2010-2012.

I don't see how that could be though. There's something else to his situation.

On a more serious note, I am surprised that we don't take a look at him. He showed a lot of promise at Tampa Bay. Something tells me that his falling out with Shiano was a result of his attitude. Something is not jiving with Freeman. He has all the signs of drug use.

He had been cut to make roster limit this week.
