I admit that I have a Canes' bias with Lamar...and would hate to see him fail, but it's not looking good for him. Moreno definitely got my vote tonight for the starting position...dude was impressive.

Complete night and day from what I saw previously. Great effort today.

Blocking makes all the difference.

I saw one play last week, in particular where he had a hole to the right and turned it inside.

Darqua on the practice squad....kid has hands.

Taylor makes up for the TD by defending another deep pass well. Despite the touchdown, I thought Taylor had a good game

Now if we could just get Moreno to use number 31

It's never good when you give up a chunk 30 yard play and touchdown consecutively to a team's 4th best receiver. That really masks what else he did for me tonight, definitely doesn't ease any concerns about him for me personally.

Moreno probably won the starting job tonight.

The chunk play was in zone.

Moore makes me nervous...he would be one manic-depressive ride if RT gets hurt.

RTs pick was uglier. He's the starter. BTW run this freaking clock out and kick a field goal, stop throwing.

I don't think it gets uglier than a pick 6 on a bubble screen. Never seen that before.

Tannehill's throw wasn't a pick 6...and Moore has a near decade more football experience than he does.

RT's pick was uglier.... I don't know how much uglier it gets than a pick six on a lateral. That was Garo Yepremian type ugly.... did I just say that.

RT's was total miscommunication between him the WR. He was clearly thinking the WR should have stopped his route.

That was ugly. Hope the kid is okay. Probably broke his jaw. Terrible decision by the safety as the ball was uncatchable.

It doesn't matter if it was a pick 6 or not. Hartline was trip-le covered, horrible decision by our STARTER. Moore has 10 yrs, sure, but he's a career backup. When does the RT experience excuse end? He's a 3 year starter and still makes boneheaded plays and still can't hit the deep ball.

The downside of a timing offense is that if there is a miscue it can turn into a disaster as evidenced by both picks.

Tanny started 32 games. Moore 25. Everything else Moore's seen is spot duty and not what I'd chalk up to a decade more experience.

Talk about a change of pace to the running game tonight...although Dallas isn't the best gauge of where we are at with these guys...not exactly a quality defensive opponent.

RTs pick has nothing to do with timing. You still have to make your reads and clearly Rt did not, no excuses on that throw.

That's another factor...both are in a new offense. Guys...I'm not sure about you but I'm excited because if nothing else the offense is moving the ball and only seems to be stopped by their own mistakes. When they fix those...there's no limit. I haven't seen this type of yardage from a Miami team in a long time. It is time to get pumped.

That's not really triple coverage, it was a zone. It looked like Tannehill was expecting a shorter route and Hartline ran it deeper. Either way its the result of poor timing in a timing offense.

There's always some kind of reason within the offense that Tannehill throws an INT. Never seen anything like it.

Can the scrub defense hold? Or will the Opie lookalike playing QB in Dallas shred them like wheat? Oh the drama

Come on Gary, of course they do, but check their td/int ratio. I don't care what anyone says on the board and/or media, if RT continues to have a close to even td/int ratio, we will be drafting a QB next year. Save this post if needed.

I'm not having any discussion about who should be starting. But some of the comments made when it comes to Moore are laughable, especially when skewing the numbers that actually matter.

No one is having this argument. Moore is a backup, RT is the starter. I want RT to start. He just has to make better decisions.
