At least we've got some depth and some options this year at the position.
Moreno seems like a good all around crafty back. Miller is the big play speed back. Williams can get you a hard yard and Darkwa is a nice little project to groom...he's got good hands and quicks.

Quote:
Following Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys, coach Joe Philbin said he's "still evaluating" his starting running back situation.
"We haven't released anything," Philbin said. "We're still evaluating right up until we name our starter." Lamar Miller started last night, but was outplayed by Knowshon Moreno -- who was making his preseason debut as he comes off knee and conditioning issues. Still, Moreno's 64 yards on 10 carries needs to be taken with a grain of salt as it came against Dallas' woeful defense, and beat man James Walker says the once-inconsistent Miller has been the most consistent back on the roster since OTAs. We still like Miller to start, leaving Moreno to be the third-down and short-yardage back.

Keep all four. They all bring something to the table.

I am intrigued by Williams size and speed.

I'm in that boat as well.

On anther note, I understand that some analysts are discounting some of Moreno's runs as we played against the "Cowboys defense", but how many times last year did we see a running back break tackles and carry the pile? I actually felt that with Moreno that we may have a running attack this year. I had to love seeing the two back offense that Lazor put into play. Nice adjustment knowing that he has two backs that can block, run, and catch. Miller and Moreno had some very nice blocks last night when they were both on the field.

Moreno looked opening day ready, so that's all I care about as a fan. He kept moving forward and I don't care what defense it was against. Finally something positive in the run game and the beat writers have to say take it with a grain of salt. Whatever, the Dolphins needed an effort like this for their confidence.

Me too. I also like the WR Williams, he brings more speed to the WR position.

Ok Gary, what in the world do the Blackwood brothers have to do with two different guys with the last name Williams?

I'm loving our RBs, Miller running with A LOT more purpose inside, Moreno showed his ability, and between Williams and Darkwa, well, why is Daniel "bust" Thomas still on the team, should've been sent packing with Eggy, 2 more of Irelands bad picks.

There's not much doubt in anyone's head that Thomas is on the phone with his agent.

Has Thomas or Gillislee even played a down this preseason?

Doesn't bode well for them.
