So let's hear your thoughts on who is to blame for today's loss.

I actually thought Bill Lazor called some nice plays today and a combination of receivers dropping the ball and Tannehill missing the mark definitely left plays on the field against the Bills today.

I have to give credit to the Bills. They won in all areas of the game.

So if I have to blame someone I would say Phins were out coached, so that goes on Philbin. Buffalo was ready to attack Miami's weaknesses & the favor wasn't returned.

Why not challenge Watkin's TD? & why not try to score with 2 minutes left in the first half???? That was insane!

Also, Tannehill played like a complete wuss & let the game happen to him instead of stepping up, attacking, & taking over.

You would've thought he was a rookie & EJ was a veteran by watching body language today

Total team loss, but I am tired of the excuses for Tannehill's poor play. Bills looked very solid, but they will be exploited by better teams. The Dolphind ain't that team.

Horrible field position; Bad special teams play; Dropped passes; Missed throws by RT; But also credit Buffalo for capitalizing and making plays when they had to.

The Bills neutralized Miami pass rush. A 7th Rd. pick dominated Wake.

Can't challenge scoring plays. They are already reviewed.

Have no idea why he was to scared to try to at least get into FG position before the half.

To much pass rush and little running game.

EJ is not a rookie. Easy to be comfortable in the pocket when the D is not touching yu.

Funny, last week Miami beats NE and I did not read any of this nonsense.

It is the SECOND GAME of the season. Buffalo was the better team today. Relax. Plays were out there today and Miami just did not capitalize and shot themselves in the foot numerous times.

They will regroup and play better against KC at home next week.

I sure hope they figure out how to contain Charles. He is better than Spiller ....

Charles just went down with a foot injury. Bad for Chiefs, but good news in Mismi.

I agree 100%, just couldn't execute on the field. We can also use the injury excuse as well. I'm hoping this is a better team after the bye week, healthy, and with a couple key starters back.

team loss. hard to go into Buffalo with all the Jim Kelly tributes ... they were pumped. Just take it & move on. No benchings , No firings , losing Moreno was tough. Move on & get on my 15-1 bus.

FINesse, I will say that the season is young and every team has an away game where they get their butts handed to them. Our OL should improve and we'll have Pouncey back soon. I still think we'll have a better season than last year.

I stand behind my comment about Philbin's decision to waste 2 minutes at the end of the half. That set a tone and sent a message of let's just try to not screw up. I didn't say fire him but that type of coaching is a fireable offense. You're supposed to lead men, not have them see that their coach has zero faith in them.

My concern outweighs my confidence in Tannehill. Please don't respond to that remark dolfans1 because does not mean I agree with a single thing you say.

What scares me most is that Moreno was the catalyst for this offense. That shouldn't be the case and man do I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe the d-line had their ego's in the clouds this week and needed a dose of medicine.

Thats true. I just thought he held onto the ball a bit much on a couple of those sacks.

Maybe its not on him because the play calling could've been ready for the pressure in the first half. But I thought Tannehill should know when to get rid of it by now (cough* especially after last season haha)

& maybe its just me. I want to believe Tannehill is the future but I just never see any fire in his eyes

Jammer, I actually agreed with Philbin's logic on this as Miami was clearly struggling the entire half and needed to get off the field into the half; make adjustments and regroup getting the second half kickoff and only being down 9-0.

In fact, I thought it worked as if you noticed they came out as a different team on offense and Tannehill was moving the ball in that 3rd quarter and dominated the time of possession. However, they obviously reverted right back to mistakes and shooting themselves in the foot coupled with the Bills just playing a darn good game.

Lots of things helped them win. First and foremost, Don Jones HAD to have called E.J. Second, on a serious note, they played with passion. They beat us off the line both sides. My initial concern, Sammy Watkins, had his career day today (He looks good...should be a legit threat to the league if he stays healthy). I think you'd agree that DamiEn Williams had a better game than Lamar Miller, even on limited carries.

DAY OF THE DROP.....pretty self explanatory

Knowshon going down ruined a lot of potential offense for us...his intensity would have been really helpful today.

I saw someone say field position....no doubt. That was huge. We couldn't hit water if we fell out of a boat today. Nothin seemed to spark. I'm not throwing in the towel on the season, or even close to doing so.

This is golden tape for other teams, so changes are going to be imminent.

Samson Satele and RT had struggles today getting the ball off.....maybe work on a silent count for situations like this in the future.

Oh yeah how could I forget.....that 102 yard TD by Thriller gave them momentum back quick status. We drained that 3rd quarter too...man......argh....what a :crap game........KC next week...time to forget.

the 3 sharts of today's game: Tannehill for being to indecisive, the refs/replay officials for blown/one sided calls, Philben for restricting our offensive gameplan. (This post was brought to you by Novartis the makers of Ex-Lax)

Bills - played a near perfect game. Hardly a penalty, no turnovers.
Coyle - Its as if the team didn't practice for the short pass all week. Again mystified that they can't solve that problem.
RT - Another very bad outting.

Buffalo had a lot more penalty yards than we did, they at least had 6 penalties for almost 100 yards today...

Penalties (Number-Yards)

6 - 40

No turnovers, good ST's.... I'll take that.

Yeah, but today he contributed to a team loss with two shanked punts. His leg was probably tired though....

Fields having a bad game once in awhile is manageable....

I think Damien Williams whiffed on the block that lead to the blocked punt. But Fields was definitely feeling the pressure today

I'm thinking the Bills may have the best D-line in the league. They are animals!

& Shelly Smith probably never even packed a lunch because he didn't know he was gonna be taken to school

Yes, he did, but he hustled back and recovered the blocked punt. Fields did not do well at all today. He shanked several punts later. It was a total brainfart by the team.
