Miller was awful. Absolutely putrid. There were two plays in the first half he could've had 10yds on and chose to turn it back inside. I mentioned his lack of vision last year.... man... he had tunnel vision on Sunday. I've only seen him touch it 3 times and two were just terrible.

What stands out to me was Tannehill hitting Miller out of the backfield in stride and him dropping the ball and it was fairly clear pastures ahead. With his speed and momentum up field who knows he may have scored.

Two plays, almost back to back, where this game was lost. Gibson runs a hook pattern at the 5yd line, if RT hits him he could score ... it was at least a first down. Rt overthrows the ball and puts it behind him. Miami kicks a FG. Spiller goes 102 yards for a TD. ... that was the dagger.

Yup, it was a 3rd and 4 play that he dropped and there was no one left to tackle him if he catches it and gets by the CB.

Miller is really making me miss Reggie Bush.

That was Tanny's fault. The ball was 6.3 CM off to the right.

While your sarcastic humor gave me a chuckle, let's not turn this into another Tannehill thread.

This is a hate on Lamar Miller thread.

:haha

Is it possible Daniel Thomas will be an upgrade as a 3rd down back?

Anyone else need a "I hate thread"?

Personally I wish they would all be deleted forever going forward.

We are all Dolphins fans, I don't know about you, but when a player is wearing a Dolphins uniform, I root for them. Crying and complaining about them isn't going to change a thing, except make you look like a whining malcontent.

That's MY opinion.

But Jim, you continue to bash the WRs, they wear the jersey and you continue to complain about them.

So who's the whining malcontent now?

Why not let everyone root for the team as they like, I'm suree you can disagree with other posters without name calling, simply because they don't agree with your assessment.

Absolutely I am not hating on our WRs. Just pointing out that if you are going to hold the QB to an unrealistic, perfection standard, maybe you should hold the WRs to the same impossible standard.

I can't speak for everybody, but I know that myself, and several other posters here are not holding him to impossible standards, I'm holding him to NFL franchise QB standards, which is what a top ten pick should be held to imo.

Its not impossible standards. But its comical to see how some posters continue to give the WR's a complete pass on all the drops while the Dolphins lead the league in drops. And even more amusing that these WR's somehow continue to pass that all important eye test. When do the average NFL WR standards filter into the conversation? I guess perception is reality.

Yep, I expect a 3rd year QB drafted at #8 (iirc) to be a franchise QB. The team should not settle for less. Keep drafting QB's till you find that guy. Tannehill might yet turn it around this year. I also believe the receivers need to meet standards as well. I like Wallace, but would have preferred a bigger target with a better catch radius to help Tannehill. Too bad we couldn't make it work with Marshall. Let's not kid ourselves though. Hartline has been reliable. He is not consistently criticized for bad hands. Clay and Gibson are also consistent. They knew Wallace was not a hands guy when they broke the bank for him.

Thank that idiot Ireland for that. How dumb.

Back to miller i always thought a running back either clicks right away or just isnt that good. Miller has never clicked and neither did daniel thomas. Moreno obviously did, but hes injury prone so hopefully miamic an draft one next draft. I was hoping for one this yr but oh well
