Because I just benched him in fantasy. Want mroe proof? After averaging 50 points a game, I finally started Kirk Cousins yesterday..... I got a whopping 9 points. The Giants Score over 30 points and neither Cruz nor Jennings scored. My fantasy teams are cursed. :haha

That's funny ... I knew you were the curse!

I don't get Cousins. How do you go from hero to zero that quickly?

Just for ha ha's (and because I wanted to learn it) I calculated Tannehill's new Passer Rating if Junkie's prediction comes true.

If Tannehill goes 21/30 275 yds 4 TDs (no picks) then his passer rating jumps from 74.1 to 87.6 (rounded off).

Goes to show how one big game early in the season can alter perception.

This is true, and it may alter perception for some, but it would still be three 70 something games and one 100+ game, and one stinker game after to bring it right back down.

A good game from Tanne would be a good start, but he has to continue to play well.

@OmarKelly

I found it interesting that Ryan Tannehill said he and Mike Wallace haven't missed on a deep ball in practice for two weeks.

Tannehill also said he threw last week's deep ball out of bounds intentionally when he saw Wallace had gone out of bounds on the rollout

If Tannehill cuts his errant throws in half and the receivers collectively do the same with their drops then I think the offense gets back to that magic Omar Kelly number of 85+ passer rating and 23 points per game.

Tannehill needs to string together 4 to 5 solid games to answer the doubters. Doesn't have to be world beater, but at minimum has to be a good game manager.

I don't always do something stupid, but when I do, I always look around and go "What???!!! I did that on purpose!"

He is human and had a bad game. The D could not the Giants, so Cousins forced some throws to get back into the game?

Who knows, but it happens.

He forgot he doesn't have a strong arm.

Still early on him though. The more he plays the more tape gets out on him and he has to overcome.

Because he's truly a backup, just like Matt Flynn and Matt Moore. These guys are fine for a fill in once in a while and thats it.

So its Jammer to the rescue this week.

In my fantasy league I have both Aaron Rodgers and Mason Crosby going which translates to a Miami victory and Rodgers looking like he did in Week 1. I should go sign the GB defense just to make sure Tannehill and the offense rack up a ton of yards and 30+ points.

All the experts are on RT this week and Hawks defense is nasty, especially at home. RT has a chance to get into a shootout and he's gonna have to score.

If that happens, Miami loses big. No way they keep up with Greenbay in a shootout. Run, run and run some more. RT should have modest numbers if the gameplan is right.
