It will take some time for the entire offense to "click".

Barry Jackson wrote:
### One Dolphins receiver said last week that the learning curve has been steep for the receivers in this offense because some of Lazor’s routes are “much different” than Mike Sherman’s.

“It’s been a big adjustment,” the receiver said. Gannon said Dolphins coaches told him that receivers “need to be more detailed and precise in their routes.”

Well that obviously true but lets hope they don't get too precise since Tannehill cant hit most of them in stride as is Ha Ha Still this is a sub point to the real problems right now. Ex drops, pass protection, & 3 to 1 called passes

They showed a big step up today. I still don't see them as a playoff team, losing to Buffalo and Kansas City the way they did was really damaging to their image.

The passes were great. They caught everything their way.

That being said that Raiders coverage is pathetic. The Dolphins could do practically anything they wanted out there. I hope this core can step it up when the windows are a lot smaller.

The season is a marathon, not sprint. If Miami can build towards a better team it does not matter that they lost to either team.

Based on the fact that teams were RUNNING all over them. Go look at the numbers Swerve. They gave up the 2nd most rushing yards in the league prior to today and will be No.1 come Tuesday morning.

Lets not forget they will get a lot healthier over the next few weeks when Pouncey, Misi and Moreno return. And Jones & Jordan will be back soon too.

Sorry, this team just has never once showed me that type of resilience throughout the years of me being a fan. Not once. You know I don't usually post thoughts like this early in the season, but this team letting me down every year has grown on me. I'm not gullible anymore, but obviously would love to be proven wrong.

2001, 2008.... both years they were very resillient. We're due.

The 2008 team had the easiest schedule of 32 teams. They weren't that good. Reason why they were a quick 1st round exit, being blown out the water by Baltimore.

I gave them credit. I gave Tanny credit too. Destroying teams like that is what we SHOULD be doing.

Alas, Oakland is not a litmus test. You can argue your little boyish heart out all you want that a milestone was achieved today by thrashing a win-less Raiders team on the bring of their head coach being fired.

Nothing tops your love affair of absolute nonsense.
