I know it isn't Dolphins, but it is Dolphin-related since we are in the same division and how Brady goes, the division goes.

It's a good read for those who are wondering why the Patriots offense is struggling so much.

Quote:
This play – his second interception – highlights the biggest problem Tom Brady has at the moment; he is late on too many throws, just not throwing with anticipation. This has never really been one of his biggest strengths, even with Welker at his peak he would wait for him to shake a defender rather than throwing early and trusting him to be there.

Image

Brady had Danny Amendola in the slot to the left about to run a square-in route against the Kansas City zone defense. The throw was there, and as we can see he was working from a clean pocket, but Brady was just too late throwing it. Instead of putting it in the air for Amendola to catch just after he clears the first man, he waits until he has cleared him and then leads him right into the second defender.

Whatever it is, I hope it continues! I have eagerly awaited his retirement. His career has been glorious, but not for the Dolphins.

I have a cousin from Boston and every freaking year at Thanksgiving I have to hear about the Pats. I told him time is on my side.

So they are saying Brady looks so bad because of a shaky line and supporting cast. Hmmm...seems Tannehill had a shaky line and supporting cast last year, but according to these "experts", he sucks.

So it's the teams fault when it's Brady sucking, but Tannehill's fault when the team is sucking.

If I remember correctly, Brady has some sort of track record in the NFL that would give him the benefit of the doubt for a poor stretch of play in NFL circles. Tannehill on the other hand...

Compare Tannehill's career stats to Brady's and you will see some disparities:

http://www.nfl.com/player/ryantannehill ... areerstats

http://www.nfl.com/player/tombrady/2504211/careerstats

I think Father Time finally caught up with Brady.

:yay:

Brady needs a coach in his later years like Kelly or Trestman .... would add 5 more solid seasons to his career.
Imagine him here with the offensive genius of Philbin & an OC like Lazor.

Oh well....maybe the Bengals' D really wasn't that good.....or the Pats' coaching staff figured out how to fix what's broke?

It's one game. They still have nothing at receiver. Did it all through backs and tight ends. Chiefs are doing the same thing. Eventually receivers need to make plays down field.

Why is his post crap? He's simply pointing out that even the best QBs are going to struggle with no offensive line and a questionable supporting cast. He's actually making a good point.

When people gave the offensive line etc as reasons for Tannehill struggling, the generic response has been that franchise QBs make the players around them better. Brady's struggles are showing that you need players around the QB to make him successful, no matter how elite he is.

It's been hashed and re-hashed over and over again. We get the point. It's a never ending debate, everybody gets it. it's a team game. As Kramer said soooo pllaaayyyed.

We can argue all day about the chicken and the day, it's a waste. Anyway, the Bengals don't like the bright lights of big games. Did you guys see how fired up Brady and Co were last night? I'd love to see our team come out like that this Sun against GB. GB is favored big time, so why not treat it like a playoff game? Get up!!

We can argue about a lot of things all day and none of them would be productive. That's what forums are for.

Well if that is the case, I probably missed it because PFF is one of the sites that is controversial for rating Tannehill high when everyone else is ripping him.

So I took the term "experts" to mean the guys on these forums that criticize Tannehill.

Nobody can ever just walk away.

And I agree with AQNOR, I thought Jim's post was about PFF having a double standard too, but we can all disagree on that. Without clarification from him, who knows.

Brady didn't look like the old man on the block last night.. he was ripping it around. But it was a home night game under the bright lights... I have no stats but just from memory I'd think they are pretty good in that setting. Especially with all the locker room material everyone is giving them.

It is a playoff game!...I highly doubt a wildcard comes from this division.

Gonk had 4 drops last night. They had a big time run game going..Bungles need to go back to that crap division and play

Brady looked better than ok yesterday. Just put the Bengals in the spotlight and they fold up.
