Only 3 teams in NFL history won their first 6 games by double digits. Now there are 4.

1984 Washington Redskins - Lost to the 9ers in the NFC Championship game

1999 St. Louis Rams - Won Superbowl 34

2007 New England Patriots - Lost Superbowl 42

2014 Miami Dolphins - ?

I am sure Miami will be the exception, we have a tough road to even make the playoffs, but this is still pretty unique to see.

Not to be a downer... but Miami has also lost 2 games by double digits... and Lost both games that went down to the wire.

Those Patriots won their first 6 games by double digits.. and they were their first 6 games... not first 10.

If this team cant win the close ones, they wont do anything in the playoffs

The last 7 games we're averaging close to twice as many points as the opponent.........PF 191, PA 97, unfortunately that only equates to a 5-2 record in that stretch.

Miami is going nowhere EVERY year until the REAL Dolphins show up each and every week.

It's all about consistency and attitude.

I love my Fins but I've come to realize over 35+ years that they only show their talent when it's an important game ie; New England or Jets...sometimes even those are a bust! If a mighty win come about...the confidence goes up and they think they can take on anybody, get lazy and lose!

Up down, Up Down...seems like we need a coach to take them all by the nads, get in their faces and make the team fear him!

Marino and Shula had control AND respect...both long gone and so is the control/respect.

This is why we get NO respect from the media and elsewhere!

THis could be said for every NFL team every year. Maybe we get hot at the right time.
