This game showed we did not quit and we didn't lay down.

We lost about 3 games this season we should have won.

The Miami Dolphins should keep Joe Philbin.

Nice game, even though we're out of playoffs.

WTF? We came out flat again, the defensive scheme is horrible. Yet, you don't mention how great RT was today with a clutch time 4th quarter drive. Joe and Coyle need to go, they are holding us back! You think QB is holding us back. Are you watching the same team? Do you really like the Fins?

Yeah very tight season hard to believe Chargers are in it, but we have the darn Patriots in our division, so we always have the toughest schedule every season.

I have been hard on Tannehill, but its because I hold him to a higher standard.

I was hard on Philbin too, but we lost some games due to some bad luck and suffered a lot of injuries too.

To make changes again would be disruptive in my opinion.

Just remember that TD takeaway for the Vikes at the end of the half. Clearly a TD , 4 point swing , 2 point win ,the call that saved Philbins job.

So hold Tannehill to impossible standards but hold the coach to Jeff Fisher-like standards, OK got it.

The only way we keep Philbin is if Coyle gets the axe. That's it.

Keeping Philbone would be the safe move, a layup if you will. But no team ever got great playing it safe.

No, just high standards, I felt Ryan Tannehill could have won some of those tight games we lost if he carries this team with his feet.

We could beat anybody, but we could also lose to anybody, and as I've said before, its a long season.

The Chiefs have fallen, so have the Ravens, and the Steelers are going no where this season.

It will be the Patriots, Broncos or Colts in AFC Championship game, Buffalo could be the Wildcard, because of their defense, when I say wildcard, I mean make some noise.

Always love a team that quits when they have a shot at the playoffs, but finds motivation once eliminated.

Philbin needs to go.

This kid has continued to improve each year he has been here. He still needs to work on dumping the ball quicker if the play isn't there instead of taking the sacks. And he still misses a few easy passes. And I feel he is the luckiest man alive with defenses dropping sure interceptions. But he made a huge stride this year. He is very very close to being a top 10 QB in the NFL. He is a top 15 QB right now. Upgrading the #2 WR position (Hartline) will be a big help to this offense.

Can we please merge the 2 Philbin's post?

Look what's happening to the Colts and look what injuries did to the Eagles, in this league you have to start out fast and win in December, once Tannehill and company figures this all out, hopefully we will improve.

We need a decent running back, better linebackers, big physical tight-end.

Team's with the least amount of injuries generally move on.

I am always looking to improve as well, but I like reading what everyone has to say.

A few years ago, people wanted Jerry Jones to sell the team, get rid of Tony Romo (he threw 90% today) and everyone said at best, the Cowboys would win 3-6 games.

Big difference for them, was they finally figured out to use Demarco Murray more effectively than they did last year.

We really don't have a solid running game to compliment the pass.

Buffalo down by 2 to Oakland, switch now.

D-1 goes week to week with this team. Fire Philben, keep him. Start Moore, RT is great. I guess it depends what happens week in and week out with this guy.

I agree with you, and I learned something this season, Makchell and that is, I wasn't having fun or enjoying the season watching us play, because of high expectations and demanding more.

I don't like losing if you give the effort in a game.

It's like being short with your kids, and at times you feel like a jerk that you did (came down hard on them), it just shows, in my opinion, you really care and want them to learn.

We all gravitate to this game, because I believe it brings us back to yesteryear and relives childhood (good-escape) memories, and in somewhat the game of football parallels our life.

I stand behind all my posts, and I really felt if Matt Moore had started first, when we drafted Tannehill, Tannehill would have progressed further. Just my opinion.

I never said Tannehill was "great" either, I may have said he played great or was good in a certain game.

His stats this season shows he's doing enough for us to win, but other parts of this team are failing us.

Hey I really appreciate that, and I never understood why I got banned from the other Dolphins boards for stating my opinions, but hey, sometimes we have to find a niche somewhere.

My goals are to win the division, or the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl ultimately.

This team has proven they can (have the ability to), they just have to learn how to win, and they will, eventually.

I believe we are in the best division in football and unfortunately, its because of Tom Brady, and coaching.

The Patriots don't over think and play for the minute and the moment.

Once we learn to do just that, and it's not hard to do, we will be there.

No. A good coach wins the games that matter. We win games that dont matter.... And get our asses kicked when they count under this coach and owner.

I once heard coaches receive too much credit and then receive too much blame for wins or losses.

I really believe you have to have talented players on the field in order to win.

Great Coaches can design schemes to take advantage of your teams talents, but you also have to have an overall smart team on both sides of the ball.

Cam Newton is a prime example, how could anyone design a better QB than Newton himself, he appears to have it all.

Follow Brady's style, he does it all so smart, he slowly whittles the game away, just like a "smart" poker player, and I don't even play poker.

That's what makes "great" players" great.
