The Dolphins need a reliable field goal kicker. Hopefully stubborn Phildo finally recognizes that and switches Sturgis out. When the game is on the line, he is just NOT someone you can count on.

Is there anyone out there that you would like to see Miami sign?

Bring in an undrafted free agent to compete.

I say give Sturgis one more year. If he doesn't make the grade, then cut him and draft Roberto Aguayo next year.

Good kickers are always brought in after the draft is over.

There are veteran kickers on the street that are an upgrade over Sturgis, and that's not an exaggeration.

Waste of a 5th round pick, good kickers are picked up as UDFAs every year and Ireland wastes a 5th on a kicker.

Can the Fins hire him again just so they can actually fire him this time...

I agree, Sturgis needs to go.

From Rotoworld.com.

Dolphins K Caleb Sturgis may be in danger of losing his job to futures signee Zach Hocker.
Taken in the fifth round of the 2013 draft during the final year of the Jeff Ireland regime, Sturgis has missed 16 of his 71 field goal attempts through two seasons. He's no better than a league-average kicker. Hocker was drafted in the seventh round by the Redskins last year and costs less money.

In fact very few nfl kickers were drafted.
Dan Carpenter
Steven Hauschka
Justin Tucker
Phil Dawson
Nick Novak
Adam Vinatieri
Dan Bailey
Robbie Gould
Matt Bryant
Matt Prater
Shaun Suisham
Graham Gano
All were undrafted just to name a few. Most of the best kickers went undrafted. There may be only about8 or 9 starting kickers that were actually drafted.
