I would like to see him in Miami for the right price. A big veteran RB could go a long way with this team

Quote:
Free agent RB Steven Jackson has no plans to retire.
"Make no mistake: I can still punish a defense," Jackson said in a statement. "There are 1,000-yard seasons left in these legs." While speaking well of the Falcons, S-Jax intimated his 2013-14 struggles were due in part to the fact that he wasn't given enough opportunities to wear defenses down with big workloads. Jackson was actually one of the league's best backs after first contact in 2014, but his game has noticeably lacked juice for some time now. As a free agent, Jackson will try to match the $1.2 million guaranteed Maurice Jones-Drew got last spring

Not a big money signing, I would be on board. There would be no RBs drafted if we went this route though.

He was a beast in his day, but he should seriously consider retiring. Despite all the $$ these guys made, you never know where they are financially..........he may have to try to play.

I would take a look at SJax just on lockerroom presence alone.

This guy is a model teammate, and would be a great presence in a dysfunctional offense. If Wallace can develop into a cancer (and his antics really werent all that bad), it just shows how much of a lack of leadership this team actually has.

I am not blaming Tannehill, who made leaps and bounds in the production department... and with tenacity, toughness, and a quiet demeanor, he has been "leading" this team.

But other than that... there is no vocal presence on the offense. SJax would be a good addition, just under those pretenses

Runningback is a young mans position. Draft one in the 6th or sign an undrafted free agent again.

If you're going to swipe a cut Falcon OG Justin Blalock is a better fit.

I'm all about the team signing a cheaper, capable starting OG rather than making someone like Orlando Franklin the 3rd highest paid at his position.

Supposedly Blalock was cut because he doesnt fit a zone scheme.
