Just spitballing- Odrick's folks surveyed the market for his top price, and Miami's offer is right in line. His tweets suggest a return

These teams only have like 9 days to make it work.

I cannot think of one reason for Odrick to want to return to Miami. He is now free from the dysfunction called the Miami Dolphins. I'd take less just to get out of it.

I think this whole dysfunction thing is a bit overblown. We are on a path to greatness & if the Dolphins offer is inline & if he does not get an offer from a real legit contender he would be crazy to take less to get out of this mecca.
Need to put last season behind us. So far the moves (cuts) that have been made have been positive.
If they decide to get rid of Wallace , then I agree that is a step back but that does not appear to be happening (yet at least).
If Hickey is running the draft we should kill it. I think Philbin will learn from the past.
Dont understand the Tannenbaum hire but I think that is more on the owner who I will grant you is awful.

This would be a very good signing. You want to keep your own players that have proven to be successful.

I hope to see more a lot more of this ...

I love the Abramson conspiracy theory that Odrick returning is just another signal of Mangini's hiring next year and Odrick fitting as a 34 DE. The state of fans' and beat writers' minds is probably not too healthy. This team needs to win.

On a side note, I'd be happy if Odrick returned. I get the sense his market wasn't as big he'd hoped ala Randy Starks last year.

Odrick is very solid and versatile, he's played 3-4 DE, 4-3 DT and has also logged more than a few mins as a 4-3 DE, a quality NFL starting DT, if Starks is going he's kind of a must keep.
