The reason I would be suspicious about this report is because it's tampering to agree to a deal prior to tuesday, not to say the deal is not on the table, but with all the deals not even in yet, and it still being technically a tampering period, even though the rules are relaxed, I am not taking this at face value.

Have the Dolphins announced the deal? No. Then it is not tampering.

This isn't bitching, but we've been burned in the past with free agent signings like this. I hope it works out, I'm just skeptical.

We have been burned by signing a top three player at his position? I don't remember us signing a player of this magnitude..... Ever.

The Dolphins and Suh's agent, Jimmy Sexton, started discussing the deal officially on Saturday, when the 72-hour window to negotiate such deals came open. Suh's deal won't be official until Tuesday, when free agency officially starts.

I actually think thats the main reason why I'm not psyched out of my mind. Dolphins have never went and got someone so big before that I can recall.

I almost don't know what to say about this happening

Miami fans should expect playoffs this year. Anything less will be a failure.

I agree let's really enjoy this huge pick up with Suh, the guy plays more years the way he has he is a Hall of Famer. Super excited on how he collapses the pocket and allows line backers to swarm in too!

However, the above being said I am now excited about how they address the offensive line as that is the next area of concern keeping Tannehill protected and fix those chinks in the offensive line armour.

I loved Suh in college. I just question the money versus the position.

I would agree with you if Suh were just a plodding run stuffer. But his sacks and pressures show he is far more than that. Since pressuring the QB is a must in a pass happy league, a player like Suh is worth the money.

If this deal actually goes through, then the Dolphins defense will be much improved next year. Of course Coyle is still the coach, so Suh and company will have to overcome his coaching and schemes to be truly effective.

If they keep Odrick, the line will be nasty. Vernon, Odrick, Suh and Wake up front....wow...and good depth for rotations.

Let's hope we get a #1 receiver in the draft to pair with Wallace...Landry in the slot....and they can keep Clay.

I hope so. Nothing we can do about it. I will love watching him in a Phins uniform and hope that finally the Phins do something right. I have no reason at the moment to question Hickey ( If its him making the call )

We were in the bottom third for run defense last year. Detroit was first.

I think you're right. This could solve a huge problem for us & potentially give us more W's in those really tight games like Denver, Green Bay, & Detroit.

I think I'm most happy for Wake & Vernon. Sure Odrick has been pretty good for us but he rarely demanded double teams. I wanna see our DE's unleashed!

In regards to tampering, an agent can talk all they want with a team right now. The player can't meet with the team team until Tuesday at 4pm to sign. Doesn't stop Suh's agent from speaking with him and verbally agreeing on his client's behalf.

Omar Kelly gave kudos to Louis Delmas for selling the positives of the city of Miami to Suh.

Question now is will Suh line up next to Mitchell or Starks? Is Starks going to be cut?

Mitchell probably becomes a heck of a lot better with Suh next to him.

No #5 for Brady that is for sure. When all is said & done , Tannehill will have the one for the thumb.

This is not a Hickey move. This is a Ross move.

Mike and Mike are saying it's a Tannenbaum move.
Also just read we're cutting Ellerbe and Fields.

I heard we're telling Fields to take a pay cut or leave.

I'm OK with either regarding Fields.
