Miami Dolphins will play two Monday Night Football games during the 2017 season, a source told The Palm Beach Post on Thursday.

Miami will play at the Carolina Panthers in Week 10, and they will host the New England Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 14.

Also, the Dolphins’ bye will be in Week 11 of the regular season, which means they will not have a game on short rest that week.

Beyond the Monday night excitement, The Post has also learned that the Dolphins will open the season at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I definitely wasn't expecting many nationally televised games this season, but then again, we did have two MNF games on those mediocre Henne/Moore & Brandon Marshal teams.

That last half of the schedule is no joke.

I thought that too....then I looked a little harder. All the way west week 2 for the Chargers, then all the way north for the Jets, the a home game in London. 3 road games and a ton of travel. What a crock. I see we get a road trip to Baltimore on a short week too. December is 5 brutal games. I think Gase will see a sophomore slump. If they make the playoffs, then the team has truly turned the corner.

Meanwhile, the champs get 3 out of their first 4 games at home. They also get the Raiders, Panthers, Chiefs and Falcons all in the friendly confines of Foxboro. Miami gets to be on the road for 3 out of those 4 opponents. NE has a tough road game in Denver, but it will be up to the Phins and the rest of the East to flatten the tires of the Kraft love bus. The schedules are supposedly based on some sort of fair rotation, but I do not understand how Miami's schedule always seems to be much worse than the schedule of the team who appears in every other Super Bowl? What a crock of :crap

Is it me or doesn't it seem weird how our division games are scheduled?

Week3 At Jets
Week7 vs Jets
Week 12 at Pats
Week 14 vs Pats
Week 15 at Bills
Week 17 vs Bills

Its like playing a home and home series with each as the season goes on. I can't remember ever seeing that.

Very different schedule than I was expecting. About as easy a start to the season as you could ask for, but a tough month of games to finish. Have the Phins had a bye-week so late before? I think I like it, they need to be rested for the late season push to the playoffs.

So our humidity advantage in Sept is negated again. Tampa is the only home game we have during that time frame and they are as used to it as Miami is.

Im looking over the schedule with a magnifying glass to find a loss.
And dont call NE the champs as those footballs were never checked after half time during the super bowl.
Honestly ... strength of schedule based on the previous year doesnt hold much for me because teams change very quickly in this NFL. Last season the Panther game would have penciled in as a loss. Now its a win.
If you want to take that leap up just go out and win. Dont play down to your opponents like a Cleveland. This team took that next step last season and should now go deep in to the playoffs.

That is really strange. I guess that could be a help though since they won't change much in two to three weeks.

London home games are exchange for hosting a super bowl.

I see your point but all I am saying it was explained to us by Garfinkle at the last 2 web weekends that it was a bargaining chip the league held over the team. That and the stadium upgrades. (If you can call them that)

I've read that too..But then why are we getting shaken down by Kraft and his league?

And for all the favors we have done them. Maybe we can get a couple home games. September October. This is two years in a row..

That schedule blows. I kind of see us finishing 8-8 +/- a game, but who knows? Maybe Gase really is special and this team takes a big step forward? They surprised the hell out of me after week 6 last year!

Sadly, I can see the Patsies making a big run at undefeated with their sweet home-cooked schedule. I am so sick of that team in the Super Bowl. I think it is starting to hurt fan interest in the NFL too.

Besides the Atlanta and NE games we should be favored in the other games.

Based on this schedule, we should go somewhere between 0-16 and 16-0.

Just illustrating the value of using a 2017 schedule to predict a win loss record based on 2016 results.
