I heard this last year, but I have yet to see it. I'm starting to think that Gase's short practices aren't working. The only way to learn anything is to go over it again and again and again and again ....

Hopefully this team can pick themselves up after this and work much harder. There is plenty of young talent on this team to turn the season around.

Consider this: The Dolphins have run the same offense since coach Gase arrived in February 2016. The players on the offense, most of whom have been around the entire time Gase has been coach, started practicing the plays Gase runs in the spring of 2016.

And here we are on the eve of November 2017, still running those same plays, and some of these players are still getting them wrong.

Quick nugget here - just read a tweet from Matt Cannata saying that Miami's brass is very unhappy with Devante Parker and his inability to play through injury. Compared it to how they became frustrated with Byron Maxwell at the end of last season which of course carried over into 2017.

He has been a bust. I don't care how much talent he has. It means nothing if he cannot get on the field.

From the Coach's mouth. If he dumbs it down any more we'll only have 3 plays.

I will do what I think is best. Those that want to come on board great, those that don’t, we’ll get rid of them.”

I don't know, Jammer. Gase said he held out Parker.

Barry Jackson wrote:
Gase said DeVante Parker (ankle) “wanted to play but I held him out. He didn’t get work like a normal practice. I knew it would be a game where it was going to get physical outside and he really hadn’t been challenged in practice yet. I thought it was the right thing to do to keep him out for one more week.”

Just passing along what I read. No idea "who" is technically unhappy. Could be Mikey T for all I know.

Parker has so much darn talent. I'd hate to see Miami prematurely move on (doubt they would).

Parker will be one of these players who is always tantalizing everyone with his ability, but never being able to deliver on that talent.

His injuries are a major concern. He also never had chemistry with Tannehill. Parker is also a downfield and red zone threat. He doesn't fit in with an offense incapable of pass blocking. We would be better off focusing on tight ends who can catch/block and building a powerful O line. Ajayi is the weapon they need to build around, not Tannehill.

In order to get the ball downfield you need to keep your QB up for 4 seconds...right now on most drop backs there is instant pressure. The OL is the issue. Fix that and everything will be fixed.

W-O-W. This team is a real mess. Gase has lost the team.
