Post OT Is anyone else watching the CFL on NFLN?
Since the NFL Network announced they would air CFL games every Thursday Night I have to admit to being a little amped at the prospect.

Especially with the Dolphins Scouting and Signing so many players from that league, a total of 6 so far in two years.

Wide open football, but it still looks like football to me, unlike the dreadful AFL or the heavily disorganized UFL.

I "think" the UFL could be something, but I also think the way they do business in signing players is not going to work long term, it would make more sense if they were a version of the NBDL.

I'm feeling the CFL, even with high scores as there is just enough defense to make it interesting, that along with Special Teams plays and returners who are NFL Caliber..in the CFL there is no such animal as a "fair catch" every inbounds kick has to be returned.

I saw the game last Thursday, and it was exciting. Man, that catch in OT on the 2 pt. conversion...reminded me of Chris Chambers.

I think the field is a little too big and there is not quite enough defense, but it's still exciting to watch, especially in July...

And Cleo Lemon still cannot throw for 200 yards. Toronto is looking at another long season.

Dolfans could have saved the boatmen some heartache with Cleo Lemon..:D

The BC Lions were excluded from NFLN's schedule, which is something of a pity as Wally Buono and Roy Shivers have a nose for NFL Quality Talent..

The funniest thing about the CFL, Is that my friend Rob Maver who was the fifth overall selection in the CFL draft has a bigger contract than the first overall selection Shomari Williams.
