Yep, but all of the braintrust in at the combine. I don't see any football seriousness from this guy. He thinks he can do it on talent alone. Say "no" to Johnny Football please.

TMZ Sports posted video of him out partying Thursday night at a Miami nightclub. He appears to be chugging champagne out of a bottle.

At least his girlfriend is comforting him.

12 NFL teams? I would be surprised if the Dolphins one of the 12 teams, because adding Manziel does not change the culture for the better of the Dolphins no matter how much repenting he has done in the press. You add a person like Manziel if you already have the culture in place to keep him in check.

Quote:
Manziel has 'strong day' at San Diego Pro Day

Performing at the University of San Diego's Pro Day on Thursday, free agent Johnny Manziel completed 36-of-38 passes and reportedly had a "strong day" in front of representatives from 12 NFL teams. Manziel looked to be in good shape and generated positive reviews despite throwing in "light rain." Manziel said he has an offer from a CFL team and is well aware he still must prove himself before returning to the big leagues. Still only 25 years old, Manziel has sounded humbled after partying himself out of the pros. He recently appeared on Andrew Hawkins and Joe Thomas' podcast and apologized to both ex-Browns for blowing his first opportunity and wasting their time.

Hey NFL, I'm out of cash. I need some more of yours. I've cleaned up my life and I'm ready to take football serious. Sign me and I will show you.

Oh wait, I just got a few more millions. Party time.

:yay:

That's what the almost 20 teams who did not show up said. I hope we were one of those.

When you a winning culture established as the Patriots do, you can bring in a troubled player knowing that you have the leaders on your team to keep him in check. I still think he goes up to Canada, but teams are showing interest if he can rebound. Did he ever go to rehab? If not, Johnny Good Guy is not going to last.

The Boston Herald reports the Patriots met with free agent QB Johnny Manziel following his Tuesday workout at Texas A&M's Pro Day. Reporter Jeff Howe says the sides met both before and after Manziel's workout. Per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Manziel met with a "bunch of other teams." We would consider Manziel unlikely to get a contract offer at this time, but stranger things have happened. The 25-year-old plans to head to Canada if he's not offered a second NFL chance.

I know what you're thinking: "Why does Dave keep updating this Manziel thread?" Well, I do not know. I do think at this point, IF he cleaned himself up, he'd be a good backup who has good potential to be better. I don't remember him ever going into rehab, and his problems usually do not go away without intervention, so, I am thinking it's only temporary.

Ex-Browns QB Johnny Manziel has signed a contract with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The former Heisman Trophy winner announced the news himself on social media and said his deal is a two-year contract. Manziel's comeback has been in the works for some time as the 25-year-old performed in front of scouts twice in March and also competed in the Spring League last month. The Patriots were said to be interested in Manziel but instead used a seventh-round draft pick on LSU's Danny Etling. The former first-round pick threw for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions in two seasons with Cleveland before off-field distractions and substance abuse issues derailed his career.
