Thoughts?

Let’s not get too caught up in what players do and don’t take part in “voluntary” workouts. That’s for the teams and coaches to worry their Aprils over. Bill Parcells’ first mis-step was to get upset at Jason Taylor for doing on “Dancing with the Stars” rather than attend those off-season workouts. As long as a player stays in shape, this idea of “team-building” is vastly over-rated. And the more veteran the player, the less it’s important.

Maybe it is more important for the younger and possibly newer guys and the veteran in place team members can help set the tone.

We seem to have a great turnout every year, so, maybe they get sick of each other to soon.

Jason Taylor missed camp, as well as OTA's for a team that had an entirely new staff and system...
Add in that he only started 8 games that following season in Wash as he had a lingering injury, he finished with 3.5 sacks that year...
I am going to say the tuna had the right idea...
