:yay: <- Phinfever "like" button.

I don't see the second coming of Landry unless no one else is getting open, but it is very encouraging to hear the chemistry they have already in OTAs. Coach Gase wants a more balanced attack, and he said that he wants a different "hot" player in each game.

In an appearance on The Joe Rose Show, Salguero said he thinks Amendola can catch 80-85 passes as a replacement for Jarvis Landry. That certainly seems within the realm of possibilities, but it is important to note two things. One, Amendola has struggled to stay healthy under heavy workloads in the past. Two, the Dolphins also added Albert Wilson to their receiver corps this offseason. Even with those caveats, however, Amendola carries enough upside to warrant a pick in the double-digit rounds.

I hope so, but have my concerns with Amendola past injury issues.

A nice hook-up in yesterday's mandatory OTA practice.

Ryan Tannehill’s 70-yard TD pass to Danny Amendola on Tuesday, beating Xavien Howard, was the most impressive passing play in the five practices open to reporters in recent weeks.

Ryan Tannehill, who hasn’t thrown an interception in three days of practice, delivered a 40-yard dart to Danny Amendola for a touchdown. Those two have developed strong on-field chemistry this summer.

From everything I've read it sounds like Tannehill is looking for Amendola and Stills. Its not a bad thing, but I'd prefer he not lean on safety valves.

Don't sleep on Jakeem Grant having a bigger than expected role.

Barring injury, this doesn't sound like an offense where any receiver is going to rack up stats. Stills, Amendola, Wilson, Parker and Grant will all get targets.

Now, Isaiah Ford and Leonte Caroo are making pushes to get time as well. It's still ridiculously early to draw any real conclusions but this looks like a much deeper group than I thought we had. Cut downs will be tricky.
