Sentinel: Tuesday practice report
Nolan Carroll, Marlon Moore, and Julius Pruitt are out there fielding punts after practice.
-- Receivers and quarterbacks are running extra routes after practice today again.
-- Dolphins were picked to finish third in the AFC East, with a 9-7 record by Sports Illustrated.
-- OLBer Quentin Moses participated in his second straight practice. Not sure how much he'll play on Thursday due to his leg injury.
-- Defensive coordinator Mike Nolan is spending a lot of time working with the cornerbacks and safeties this week.
-- Right tackle Vernon Carey (right calf issue) is practicing and you really don't notice he's battling an injury. No contact though.
-- The quarterbacks are working on their checkdown passes to the tailbacks, putting some touch on it.
-- Dolphins coach Tony Sparano is watching the defensive backs work during individuals.
-- Charlie Anderson has been paired with Micah Johnson as the second team inside linebackers.
-- Another day with Dolphins starting linebacker Channing Crowder as a no-show. Also no Ray Feinga with the hurt finger.
-- Joe Berger continues to work as the starting center, but I think him and Jake Grove are rotating in and out.
-- Koa Misi is back working with the Dolphins first-team defense. His demotion or experiment was short lived
