Post In terms of predicting success, 11 seems to be magic number
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8 ... gic-number

Good read.

Whether your favorite team is an extension of the West Coast offense or some variation of the East Coast offense -- if there is such a thing -- the truth is that teams use multiple personnel groups throughout each and every game.

I frequently get asked if there's one personnel group that causes more problems for defenses. While the personnel grouping that puts the best players on the field is any team's top option, I prefer one over all others. It's no coincidence that the teams with this personnel group are winning.

So will Miami crack that list finally?

Some of the pieces are in place to have a decent 11 personnel grouping. The X receiver is Marshall. The Y receiver is to be determined (Hartline today) and the slot WR is Bess. Henne has the arm to make all the throws. I think Miami is still weak at TE and while Ricky and Ronnie will fill the RB needs, Miami's future RB is still a big question mark. The turnover along the O-line was a disappointment. I just hope they hit it big on one of the WR's they kept instead of Turner and that the O-line can gel into a solid team that can run and pass block.

This is all fine and dandy...but how many teams have a back like Lousaka Polite or Le'Ron McClain? If your best players are on the field, it should be a no brainer...it just so happens that the most successful teams aren't using fullbacks. Is a slot receiver a better option, or would you rather your fullback.
Personally, I think this team's best weapons are in the 20 personnel grouping. 3 wides, 2 backs.

Lou counts for 2. He hurts like 3.

When Chuck Norris calls 911, Lousaka Polite answers.

Dude, keep this realistic. When does Chuck Norris call 911?

Unless he got into a disagreement with Dan Marino or something.......
