I am a big fan of the Wild Cat. I think the only problem with it is choosing the correct time to run it. For example, when the base offense is running like a machine, don't interrupt it.

Mike Berardino wrote:
Offensive coordinator Dan Henning is as pleased as anyone to have Brown back at the Wildcat controls. Aside from Brown's lost fumble against the Raiders in 2008 – the only other Wildcat turnover in 178 total snaps (1.1 percent turnover frequency) – the sixth-year pro has been remarkably reliable.

"He's had a couple of times where it could have been a disaster and he averted the disaster," Henning says. "And then he's had a couple times where the play was there and he made the play. So I give him high grades with that and I do certainly appreciate the way he runs the direct-snap offense that we use with him."

Welcome back, Mr. Wildcat.

This comes just a week after Berardino predicted that the Wildcat would be phased out of the Dolphins' offense. It's clear that as Brown goes so goes the Wildcat, as Ricky Williams struggled running the formation last season.

I especially like the WC in the red zone. I think the formation is good for getting that tough yardage and making the defense defend yet another formation with their backs against the wall.

How about packing it back up. There's nothing new and teams are shutting it down

:yay: The Wildcat looked more like a house cat.
