The Dolphins must figure out why the one player they targeted in the 2009 draft, and were all excited about this offseason, failed to become an impact player.

They must determine if the team's 2009 second-round pick is really an NFL quarterback or would he have a brighter future as a receiver, becoming the next Kordell Stewart, Hines Ward, Antwaan Randel El or Brad Smith.

Can his accuracy issues be fixed? He did complete 64.8 percent of his passes as a four-year starter at West Virginia. But that was while running a spread offense.

With an additional 10 pounds of muscle, can this 6-foot, 190-pound scrambler, who gained 81 yards on 21 carries, become more of an effective runner? Or are more brutal hits like the one he suffered against the Steelers in his future?

"It bugs everybody else more than it bugs me. I'm just going to keep working and competing," White said.
