Home field advantage to be huge tonight
Not only will the crowd be rocking, but, even at 8:30 in the p.m., the heat will be brutal! That Jets front 7 will be on the oxygen tanks all night long.http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/ ... fe-stadium
Man, is it muggy at Sun Life Stadium. All I did was walk through the parking lot, and already I'm shvitzing.
The New York Jets will have to play through some steamy conditions they're not accustomed to Sunday night against the Miami Dolphins. The temperature as I type this is 87 degrees, but with the humidity it feels like 96 degrees, says the Weather Channel.
The Dolphins practice in this stuff. That should give them an advantage.
As big as Sunday night's game seemed heading into the weekend, it has gotten even more important. The New England Patriots fought off a scrappy Buffalo Bills team that proved there are no easy victories in the AFC East.
Whoever wins Sunday night will be in first place in the division and looking pretty strong.
As an aside, my seat in the new Sun Life Stadium press box doesn't allow me to see one of the end zones (on the left side of your television screen) because it's obstructed by a catwalk.
So let me apologize in advance for any Right Said Fred references on touchdowns scored down there.
Yeah, on the catwalk.
