ronnie brown needs to start carrying the load for the dolphins on the ground rickys fumbling is becoming to much of liability and I feel like his running has really fallen off since how he performed last year thats just my thoughts

I wouldnt hold your breathe on that one.
This team has based a good portion of its offensive game plan on a 2 back system.

Ricky's fumbling is troublesome, but Ronnie dropped one in Minn as well...

I wouldn't worry about it too much yet.

Actually I think it's time to start it.

I agree Ski Money, we need to continue to run the football if we are going to win games this year. When Ricky and Ronnie have good games and the offensive line dominates up front we usually win. I hope we run the football down the Patriots throat this week!

As I've said before. Ricky and Ronnie need touches to get into the groove. By time the 4th Qt comes, the D is tied of tackling them. Check the stats on Ronnie in the 4th when he started and finished games. Switching them in and out is like taking Henne out for the wildcat. Pick one and stick with him throughout the game.

Rhythm is important, i'll give you that. But so is a fresh set of legs. I don't think switching RBs has near the negative effect that it has with the QB. It's the simply stamina that gets you big runs in the 4th. When you pound rock all game, by the 4th the front 7 of the D is just played and couldn't tackle a 2 year old. It's a heavy dose of ground play calling in the 1st that yields the big runs in the 4th.

I'm all for more rock pounding in the 1st. As long as we can spell it with a nice toss down the field to keep the safeties off our precious little RBs. I don't expect a lot of 1st qtr running this week, since it will be conditional on the scoreboard.

Yeah, but RBs also start to learn what the D is doing throughout the game.
