"The forums section on Randy Moss' personal website names four teams Moss could potentially land with, and is asking readers to voice their opinions as to his destination."

Make it happen Jeff Ireland! Marshall and Moss together equals not enough cornerbacks to cover the field!

Marshall and Moss together

Great role models for our young reciever corps. WHat has Moss done this season? If he was that great, he wouldn't have gotten cut.

IF he decided to play on 3/4 of the downs on offense... it would be a tough call for the defense to cover Marshall, Moss and let's not forget Bess. That being said, I won't be losing any sleep if we don't get 'em.

Well Mack I would say role model, not model(s) as your point is valid with Moss in turmoil with his team = lack of production, the same cant be said about Marshall who while being in the same unhappy situation in Den still played his arse off...

I would not be mad if the Fins let him pass by, but also would not be upset if we brought him in to help our offense. I would have to imagine our FO would at least find out what Moss's thoughts were on playing for the Div rival of his beloved Pats and Pappy Belichick.... One thing is for sure, we wont put up with any of this nice talk about them... darn cheaters....

IMO, leave it alone. We may have a need for him but, we are a couple of calls away from being 6-1. We beat ourselves. We were in all those games and playing pretty well considering. Adding Moss for just 9 games would only hurt the development of younger players. We are thinking long term.

The other thing is Henning. We had Ginn for about 3 years and despite his troubles we rarely went deep. I have no doubt in my mind that Henning is a stubborn egotistical idiot who won't change his scheme no matter who you have on your team.

Add to that Marshall is the big money player and now we have a "who is getting the ball and who isn't"

IMO too many reasons not to sign him.

Randy Moss-WR- Vikings Nov. 3 - 3:37 pm et

Ranked No. 22 in the NFL waiver priority order, the Titans have reportedly submitted a waiver claim for Randy Moss.

Source: SI.com

I don't know if this means they are the only ones, or if they are the only ones that SI knows about. According to the list, we are 18th and the Titans are 22nd, so if we put in a waiver claim, it would be ahead of the Titans. Honestly I don't see our coaching staff putting in for him, but thats just me.

There is the possibility that the FO did show interest but the feeling was not mutual...

Only way I see our guys taking him is if he shows some enthusiasm to come play here.

"Sounds" like he is going to St.Louis, though that is yet to be confirmed and he must agree to it or hold out the season.

COME ON MIAMI!!! GO GET HIM!!!!

The only threat is St. Louis.

The fact that we play the Titans in 2 weeks could entice us to put in a claim, now that word is Tennessee did.

The Rams DID NOT put in a claim, according to multiple outlets right now...

Yea the Titans did, but I wouldn't rule out the Rams just yet. SI is claiming that they are very interested in adding him. We will see.
Again, I dont see us adding him and I believe we would have heard something about it by now had we.

Adam Schefter just tweeted.....

Quote:
Oakland is the team to watch on Randy Moss. if he clears there, watch out Miami. And if he clears there, he's home to Tennessee.

I can't see Oakland putting in a claim for him since he left under unfavorable terms there, and I don't think he would want to play for Al Davis again. That being said, Al Davis is crazy enough to do anything, so I guess anything is possible.

With 20 minutes left before the deadline, the Rams (at No. 13 in the order) are also "strongly considering" using a waiver claim -- if they haven't already -- according to SI.com's Don Banks. Banks adds the Dolphins (No. 18) and Saints (No. 21) as teams that could grab Moss before he gets to Tennessee. He also calls the Chargers (at No. 10) "a potential surprise entry."

So if Miami had put in a claim, then Moss decided to sit out, which he already said he would if he didnt go to the right team, who is the fool?
Ireland or Moss?

Looks like we didnt put a claim in. Tennessee is the big winner.

Looks like a bit slow. didnt see all the posts above.

I don't know if I would call them 'big winners' quite yet. He may not be much more useful for them, than he was for the Vikes or the Pats this year.

Now Henning and the offense need to validate not going after Moss was a good move. C'mon O. Dont dissapoint us!

Peter King basically says that the reason Miami didn't claim Moss was the story on Yahoo! that came out yesterday.

Why couldn't the Vikings place him on waiver Monday....darn you Michael Silver!

Good for the Fins! We shut him down when Brady had him and we'll shut him down again. 31 other teams aren't wrong guys.

We have kicked a lot of fieldgoals this season. We need to start finding the endzone more when we get redzone chances. I think Moss could have helped us out in that department. If we didn't go after him then I think it means we're going to keep going with what we've got. Our staff is confident in they players we already have. If we can get a big victory over the Ravens then I think it will go a long way in convincing fans that passing on Moss was a good idea. If we kick five more field goals and loose in a similar fashion to the Steelers game then I think many will start to second guess our front office.
