Where all that evidence at? Maybe it was all a smoke screen to distract us from the loss to the Ravens.

NFL: No fines in alleged spitting incident

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - The NFL has decided against imposing any fines after investigating complaints by the Miami Dolphins that Baltimore fullback Le'Ron McClain spit in the face of linebacker Channing Crowder.

Merton Hanks, the NFL director of football operations, found no conclusive evidence to support discipline, the league said in a statement Wednesday.

Crowder said McClain spit in his face during a timeout in Sunday's game at Baltimore, which the Ravens won. Miami coach Tony Sparano asked the league to investigate.

McClain said he spit only accidentally, and Ravens coach John Harbaugh said his player was innocent.

Hanks reviewed the video and reports from the on-field officials, including referee John Parry, who was in the immediate vicinity of the two players.

Smokescreen? Did you not read the whole article? McClain admits to spitting on Crowder, but states that it was 'a mistake'. I don't know how you can be in the heat of an argument and 'mistakenly' spit right in another dude's face. And how with a confession of spitting, the NFL can't find evidence? The guy admitted to it; this is laughable.

He denied spitting the day it happened, now he admits it?
Wow, I guess it pays to be low class these days.
