LT Jake Long
By only giving up one sack in the first half of the season, Long nosed out Joe Thomas for left tackle honors.

OLB Cameron Wake
Wake's relentless style is driving opposing quarterbacks crazy.

K Dan Carpenter
The Dolphins' inability to complete touchdown drives may have Carpenter filing for overtime on field goals.

Awesome!
I'm a little surprised to not see Vontae Davis make it on this list. I know he had a bit of an off week this past Sunday, but he has been incredible for us this year.

Champ has been dominant this season. I don't have a problem with it.

But Vontae has been having a heck of a season. No question. He'll be an All-pro in the near future.

He made some mistakes in the GB and Balt games, but 6 out of 8 of the games he has played very well in. I don't think he is 'shut down' yet, but he is well on his way. Keep in mind that he has just about a full year of starting now for this team. He didnt come in last year starting right away. I'd say he is well ahead of the curve for that position.

He just turned 22 a few weeks ago......22.

It is absolutely ridiculous that he's this good at this age.

I think his all pro status will change if we can solidify the other corner spot. I think Nolan had to roll a lot of the coverages to Allen and Smith's side because of the trouble. I honestly thought at the beginning of the season that if Will Allen were healthy, VD would have been a lock. Will Allen on a bad day is still better than Allen or Smith.
