NFL.COM Mock draft 2.0 - OLB Sergio Kindle
Quote: 12. Miami Dolphins Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas Joey Porter's eventual release and Jason Taylor's uncertain status makes acquiring a top-edge rusher like Kindle a must for the Dolphins.

 Re: Mock draft 2.0
I can get on board with that. It's either McClain or Kindle with that 12th pick or I'm trading back.

Why? Apparently he's too small.

Why? I'll rephrase...I hate him as a 34 LB. To me, he'd be a good 43 LB, but I just don't think he's good enough of a pass rusher to play 34 OLB. I think he's better working in more space, moving around a little more, blitzing from every which direction. I don't think he would fare well in a base 34.

Did you see the first half of the National Championship game? They couldn't stop the man. He was too quick for a tackle, too strong for a TE, and just flat out too athletic for a double team of any sort.

Re: NFL.COM Mock draft 2.0 - OLB Sergio Kindle
What argument would you like me to present?
I like him as a 3rd down LB, or a 43 OLB, just not a base 34D guy.

Haha, true Ted Ginn hater, and iowa fan speaking.
You're right though. His combine numbers will be impressive.
One guy that a lot of people will fall in love with come combine time is Sean Witherspoon.

Re: NFL.COM Mock draft 2.0 - OLB Sergio Kindle
Phins, I think Sergio is big enough to play OLB in a 3-4 scheme and he certainly has the frame to put on more weight.
I like Brandon Graham more personally because he had more production at the college level with a lot less talent around him. He's stout at the point of attack and has 29.5 career sacks to Kindle's 16.0. He reminds me of Lamarr Woodley and he has similar size at 6'1, 263 lbs.
The big test for Brandon will probably be at the Combine, as I am quite sure he will get a lot of looks in regards to his movement skills and will probably work with the LB's. That being said, I think he can make the move to OLB.

I'm on board with Brandon Graham if we don't get McClain
