Count Oakland receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh among those not surprised that the Dolphins thumped the Raiders 34-14 last week, Miami's fourth win in five games.

"When you watch them on tape, you ask yourself, 'How are they 4-8?' " Houshmandzadeh, an 11-year veteran, said after the game.

"They've got a lot of good players on defense. They've got good players on offense. It's weird how they have the record they have."

Because they underachieved & thought just showing up would win games.

IDK either. It's the hardest part of being a dolphins fan. I appreciate the team is essentially playing to save Tony's job and I acknowledge that Sparano has changed his ways and adapted to win 4 out of the last 5, but 'innovative' is what we need not 'react and readvise'. I believe Tony will always be behind the curve instead of ahead ala say a 'Sean Payton'.

It kinda twists and tears my heart to say this...but...Tony needs to go, and we need a innovative--'hot' coach to take over.

Behind the curve is a great way to describe it.

Question is: how would Sparano have done with this team and a full offseason. Without a doubt, the short offseason brutalized the Dolphins. They showed up unprepared and out of shape. That's a sign of a coach who is behind his peers.

Buh bye Tony. I say we hang on to Nolan. You have to imagine that Daboll will be replaced by a new coach though.

How are we behind the curve???

Bad coaching and bad quarterbacking. Basically poor leadership.
