I guess Josh McDaniels saw something in our defense, now they have 3 of our former DBs.

The Denver Broncos continue to add bodies to the roster, announcing the acquisition of former Dolphins cornerback Nathan Jones.

Jones was one of the guys whose names emerged as visitors to the team not long after free agency officially launched.

He spent the past two years in Miami after four with the Cowboys.

Ugh. That's aright. I like Jones. But he was/is replaceable.

Thanks for what you've done for us the past couple years Nate. We appreciate it. Good luck in Denver.

Nice signing for Denver. Nate Jones is a solid little DB.

Denver's secondary is littered with Dolphin's players.

I would have loved to keep the guy, I was kinda upset about seeing him go especially after he said in an interview that he knew his role and didn't expect starter money. He's smart and a teamplayer and I hope he has a good career ahead of him. Now we need to find a good nickel corner to fill the void

If I knew, I wouldn't be posting on a Dolphin message board.

Then how is he replaceable?

Because it is not that hard to find a decent nickel/dime CB.

The Broncos are trying to recreate our secondary from 2008...this is not that big of a deal for Miami.

Smith and Davis will start and Will Allen is more than capable of taking over the nickel back role that Jones held. Plus Jason Allen is a versatile and YES underrated DB who can play corner or safety and be the man in dime coverage. I know everyone is disappointed that he did not become a top starter but Allen has developed into a solid backup and special teams player and is a very valuable member of the secondary.

I don't know....Find a CB in round 5 or 6 to start to develope, or sign a veteran CB to be the 4th or 5th guy (depending on JA).

Man, Miami's secondary has sucked for years and now Denver is sporting a 3/4 Dolphin secondary. Not picking up Denver Def in FF next year!
