Guys, the forum has been up for a few days. Give us your thoughts on the background color before we add mods and convert more smileys.

White background with black font is my preference but I say do what you like or is easiest. I grew up reading my sports from a newspaper so that is what I am use to.

I voted for the dark background just for the sake of making our job easier on Saturday lol

But don't let that sway your preference, please let us know which you like better so that we can switch it if we need to this weekend.

I went for the black too. I like the style. Be nice to add some aqua somewhere too.

black is easier on my eyes than white. Black is beautiful!

I think a dark aqua backround with orange trim and white font would be the most "proper" way to do it considering who we are. This looks like a steeler forum right now.

My vote is for a light background with dark text (not necessarily white/black)

Perhaps a user setting to show whichever the user prefers. It is very common on forums and has been for a few years. You should look in to that option. It shouldn't be that hard either.

I will concede that the black looks better, but it is about unreadable after just a few minutes. I went from visiting many times a day to confining all my Dolphin talk to once a day, and even then I have had to cut my visits short because I simply can't look at it for too long.

Dark center, same font, but some Aqua over on the sides...

I personally liked the old look better, but like eleaf suggested, you guys should look into having options for the forum layout so the users can choose.

I prefer more options too. I think the look is good but the white font on black background gets a bit stressful on the eyes when reading. Then maybe I am just getting too damn old
