I don't understand those that have to come in with a pessimistic attitude for every article posted.
If you don't want to be excited, fine, but why drag the rest of us down too? Especially with purely sarcastic posts that don't even offer any sort of opinion about the original post.
In my opinion it's a great time of year to be excited... the draft is over, we're learning new things about these guys everyday and we're starting fresh...
None of us have a clue what this team is going to look like this year... it's a new scheme across the board... but I for one am happy to see Ireland break out of the Parcells mold and go after guys this staff wants.
Two ways to look at a new staff and a new draft.
1. Negative and pessimistic because we go through the highs of this every few years and we've been let down so many times that we've adopted the position of "prove something to me" before we will be excited about it.
2. Happy because this is a new direction, a new draft, and there are lots of indications that things will be different than they were before.
Neither is wrong, but it does get to be a drag when all the Negative Nancys come around and throw a wet blanket over heads and tell us we have no right to be optimistic.
