 Expect Youth and Not Paying Aging Players... But Damn would it be sweet to see Freeney lined up opposite Wake on passing downs even if just 1 year..
Listened to him yesterday on NFL radio, hes primed and ready. He expects to be a situational player as well..

I dont expect it to happen, but we talk about a lot of players that will probably never be signed this time of year... I know many want more pass rushers, so for a quick fix while we fill holes Freeney is an animal..

But Sign Freeney for a reasonable contract and use him in the rotation as even with the younger guys getting into the mix, you can never have too many and historically plenty of Superbowl winners used a similar approach signing veteran pass rushers to help win more ball games.
I think of Charles Haley & Reggie White. Freeney can still help a team for sure, but again the price needs to be right.

I also think it'd be sweet to add Charles Woodson in a similar fashion
But I'm guessing both will want more money then we're willing to offer

Re: Expect Youth and Not Paying Aging Players... But I love Woodson. HOF bound. However, his career is winding down and he is not worth the money for a team that is rebuilding. He will want to go to a winner and might be the piece a team needs to win tomorrow. He would look really good as a Raven.
