I actually wouldn't freak if we didn't nail him. I'd be more if we didn't upgrade TE. The moment you upgrade that. Your current WRs start looking a lot better. And FYI.. I HATE having to shell out this kind of money for a burner. Though it might be necessary. So I'm sort of indifferent. So long as decent strides are made to improve our offenses production.

That whole '1 trick pony' thing is a bit inaccurate about Wallace and it minimizes him as a receiver.
Was just watching a free agency special with Polian, Parcells and Hasselback and they all raved about Wallace and they agreed he's the only free agent worth the big payday. They said that he's more than just a deep threat.

Even if he is just a one trick pony;
A) it's a really important trick and
B) he's the best in the league at it

Especially at addressing the QB situation.

Yeah I get your point, but look at his overall body of work. I mean, he's put together a good team, swung and missed in the draft on a qb (jury is still out on him but not looking good), and made some good trades. He's far from perfect, but overall I think he has done a nice job.

Yes, he has made some good moves. But unfortunately, all the good moves in the world can't compensate for a franchise QB.

I just hope we've found ours.

Well, it likes 2 pages of needless debate on if he signs or not. Looks like the "sources" were right on this one.

Why was it needless debate? It probably kept one or more people off of the street and out of trouble. : )

Please show me something that isn't needless that we do on a fan site forum.

Does something we do here feed children or save lives by any chance?
