Vikings released CB Antoine Winfield.
It's a financial move, perhaps setting the table for a run at Mike Wallace. Winfield played 94 percent of the snaps last season, grading out as ProFootballFocus' best run-defending corner and also allowing zero touchdowns in the passing game. But he declined a paycut, so the Vikings made the questionable decision to save $7.25 million and move on from their best cornerback. Although Winfield is entering his age-36 season, he'll find plenty of interest on the open market as a physical slot corner and potential team leader. -Rotoworld
While I doubt Wallace would choose Minnesota over Miami, this will definitely raise the price!
