LaConforna kept saying Cook & Dolphins are close to a deal, meanwhile we sign Ellerbe & soon after Wheeler. So metaphorically i thought of Ireland running from room to room to host & sell these guys. I wonder if we were ever truly that serious about signing Cook. It appears to me that our FO had their mind made up on where & how much they were willing to spend. & if we were courting LBs all afternoon, I'd be willing to bet that we moved on past Cook much sooner then that "leaked" info of his being in Miami _________________
