Fasano has been over rated as a blocker the last 2 years, and as a pass catcher he's nowhere near good enough. Extremely replaceable.

Fasano was solid while he was here, he made some pretty amazing catches, but it is time to move on.

Fasano was solid, but not spectacular. I would have loved to see him back along with Cook, but best of luck to him in KC.

James Casey from the Texans would be an excellent Fasano replacement along with signing the #1 guy Jared Cook.

Highly doubt we'd sign two TE's in free agency. Next one would come through the draft.

Eagles are reportedly signing Casey anyway. Rats he would have been a bargain TE to nab.

Totally agree, but the Chiefs made him feel better with a four year, $16 million contract, including $4.5 million signing bonus. Overpaid, but he'll cash in for a couple of years.

Okay....now I can see the team drafting Eifert in the 1st round. They got Wallace to help the WR corps and signed Hartline. I see them drafting another receiver, but in round #2 or #3.

I have nothing bad to say about Fasano, Burnett or Dansby. They all played well for this team.

Sorry to say, but when you "suck" in the NFL or are not as good as you think you are ($) then you spend a few days unemployed when you become a FA

Fasano was one of the first signings, so he obviously knows who he is and what hes worth. We need a different type of TE, he is a big beefy blocker and is not going to take the top off of a defense. I do not think Fasano was let go for any other reason than simply not fitting in the system.

When the news broke yesterday on NFL network the analyst said "Fasano, one of the most under rated FA's this year has signed with the Chiefs"
Forgive me if I side with the pros on this one.. Fasano is a good TE, just not in our system....
